Eco-printing on Watercolor Paper12:30PM - 3:30PM
Instructor: Connie Chaplin Using local flowers and leaves, we will print a variety of papers that can be used for cards, journal, pages or being framed.
No experience is needed, so it’s great for beginners, but also advanced Eco printers will enjoy and continue their learning techniques. We will use natural dye to enhance some of the papers and bring out the natural beauty of the Leaf print mark. This is a fun and rewarding workshop. You will be able to replicate and practice at home after this class. Please bring apron, notebook and pen, and medical type gloves. (several pairs) You are also welcome to bring flowers, petals and any leaves you would like to try out. Hint- fruit and nut leaves work nicely as well as oak, birch, willow as a guide of what to bring. I will also bring some leaves. Cost is $120.00 all inclusive To register for the Workshop please send an etransfer to biggar[email protected] and put the workshop title in the comments.

Metis beading with Bryan Smith
Bryan grew up in the Spiritwood area of Saskatchewan. He started to learn to bead when he was 13 or 14 when his mother was asked to make a number of hat bands for a group of team ropers. He has been making hat bands since and that is kind of his specialty. He have also done other pieces. Mostly as gifts. It is a hobby he still loves to do today as a way of relaxing.
