Prairie Blankets for Angels is a Saskatchewan Non profit.

We are proud provide blankets 100% handmade by our volunteers. These blankets are crochet, knitted, and quilted by our amazing teams of volunteers in 11 different locations throughout the province.

These blankets are provided to maternity wards province wide for babies who were born sleeping or miscarried.

Another project provides blankets to child protection, group homes, foster homes, and shelters who help at risk kids and kids and families in crisis or fleeing domestic abuse.

Demonstrations
Prairie Fibreshed was established to unite and support Saskatchewan fibre producers and fibre users. We hope to share our enthusiasm for local fibre through education and advocacy.
The Prairie Fibreshed Network will be hosting Interactive Demonstrations 
Come and see how fluff turns into yarn and cloth, and give it a try!

There will be carders to prepare wool for spinning and felting.

We’ll have spindles and spinning wheels, and a weaving loom.

Bring your own spindle, wheel, needles or hooks, and relax with a craft break.

We’ll have information about Natural Fibres and the Prairie Fibreshed, too.
